Attorney Erica Jackson was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of Stafford High School where she graduated with Cum Laude honors. She sought higher education at Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, Texas where she was both a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar and a W.E.B. Dubois Scholar, graduating with Cum Laude honors.
Shortly thereafter, Ms. Jackson attended The Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on academic scholarship. Erica’s extracurricular endeavors included Women in Law, Student Board Member for the Curriculum Committee and The 2015 Law Week Chair. During her second year of law school she began clerking for a personal injury firm where she found her passion for civil law.
After passing the Louisiana Bar Exam, Erica became an associate attorney at The Singleton Law Firm in Shreveport, Louisiana. Erica is currently focused on civil litigation, practicing in the areas of personal injury, worker’s compensation, and medical malpractice. Erica’s love of oratory arts has helped her successfully litigate and mediate numerous cases to successful resolution.
Currently, Erica is admitted to practice Federally in the Western District of Louisiana.
