Trans Vaginal Mesh

Trans Vaginal Mesh (TVM) is a device that is implanted to aid in the suspension of organs in the pelvic area.  However, the device can cause severe injuries, including Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) and Stress Urinary Incontinence. Manufacturers include MDL, Ethicon, Boston Scientific, C.R. Bard, American Medical Systems, Inc. and Coloplast.

Side effects include the following:

  • Mesh erosion through vagina
  • Pain during sexual intercourse
  • Organ Perforation
  • Serious Infection
  • Bleeding
  • Incontinence
